SHELL Project: 36″ Oil Pipeline Replacement

I. Project Background

In February 2017, SHELL needed a 36-inch pipe cold cutting and beveling machine to replace part of the export pipeline for a segmented replacement project of an oil pipeline in the Eneka community. NODHA has worked with SHELL many times, so NODHA quickly provided them with the equipment and completed the work.

II. Technical Configuration

36-inch cold cutting and beveling integrated machine

Cutting thickness: 40mm X70 pipeline steel

Drive system: dual-chamber turbocharger (0.8MPa air source pressure)

III. Project Effectiveness

Single-port operation cycle is shortened

Bevel angle error is extremely small

Operation safety risk is low

Comprehensive construction cost is reduced
