SINOPEC’S Pipeline Project in Taizhou, Jiangsu

I. Project Main Body

This project is led by Sinopec and landed in Taizhou, Jiangsu.

II. Pipeline Details

Material: P91 steel is selected. P91 has excellent high temperature strength, oxidation resistance and creep resistance, and can ensure the safe and stable operation of the pipeline under harsh working conditions.

Size: The specification is 16 inches in diameter and the wall thickness is 38 mm. This large diameter and thick wall design meets the transportation needs of large flow and high pressure.

Groove requirements: Composite bevels need to be processed. The composite bevel design can optimize the welding process, enhance the strength and sealing of the welded joint, and greatly improve the reliability of the pipeline connection.

III. Project Significance

By strictly controlling the pipeline material, size and groove processing requirements, the project team will create high-quality pipeline projects for Sinopec.
